Thankfully, we have running water in all essential places; but must not use the boiler until another modification has been done. It isn't the weather to use central heating, and machines such as the washing machine are 'cold fill'; which is another bonus.

After an update from friend, we now know not to try to get hot water until further modifications have been made. But, when that's done it'll hopefully be all systems go.
