I ought to be grateful the GP sent me to hospital for my emergency op. If I'd known earlier, maybe I could have had the op sooner. Never mind, it is over and progress is being made very slowly.
I am grateful to one member of the tutorial group who got in touch with some brief yet useful notes from the Dec. tutorial. Frustratingly, it is the overwhelming tiredness that really 'gets to me', especially as I then have great difficulty sleeping at night. My DAB radio has become my friend helping me while away the hours and help me drift off to sleep. Being chauffeured by D is fine, but not for any great distance. I have my passenger seat with the back angled backwards so the seatbelt comes across my waist. Winter roads being what they are potholes are a nuisance, so are the many humps put to slow down traffic. They make for an unpleasant experience.
I must continue to be patient and ought at some time to ring the Broker about how long the insurance company recommends I abstain from driving. Apparently just now my vehicle insurance is null and void. I need to have recovered sufficiently to perform an emergency stop without difficulty.
On a brighter note, I continue to be pleasantly surprised by the number of tasks that can be accomplished without going anywhere. Hooray for being able to do tasks online.
