She sounded full of cold and couldn't help coughing. So I said I'd call round later in the week provided she feels well enough. OH has just been talking with the other 'M' and she too is full of cold. We've offered to get both of them anything they need from the shops.
My replacement card arrived today, sooner than expected; so have contacted the provider. Their automated system passed me on to a real person as it's not straight-forward because of the circumstances. Three cheers! Why? Because the guy on the phone spoke in a lovely Scottish brogue, no messing with 'Mumbai calling'. Perhaps that bank has got the message that overseas call centres were creating more problems than they 'solved'.

You're so lucky to have had an easy transition with your credit card. I'm still pissed at my own credit card company over the Korea snafu - I'm boycotting them!
Oh that's dreadful! Hope you can get it resolved. Guessing you've tried their complaints procedures?
